FAQs

Who pays for school-specific infrastructure improvements if they are needed?

The majority of schools will not require any specific ICT infrastructure beyond their normal operating capacity, and schools are encouraged to ensure they implement ICT Environments that are easily upgradable. Schools continue to assume responsibility to ensure they have ICT infrastructure capable of providing enough capacity to users, and that they have enough suitable devices for students to use. CEWA will continue to support schools in establishing sustainable and manageable ICT environments in the school’s context. The LEADing Lights Getting Started Pack will provide schools specific IT guidance on infrastructure in Term 4, 2016.
